As a reminder – our February Meeting was rescheduled for February 24, 2017 to coincide with the Nacogdoches Film Festival. Miles Bradshaw has booked Larry Waks, an entertainment lawyer, to give our program that day. Rumor is that CLE credit will be provided for those that attend.
The February 24 meeting will be at the Liberty Bell. We have invited our friends from the Angelina County Bar Association to join us. A menu and more information about the speaker will be sent out by the end of the week.
Also, we have another CLE opportunity set for February 24, 2017. The Building Blocks of Wills, Estates, and Probate course will be offered at the law offices of W. Albert Weatherly. Information is on the attached flyer. This is one of the most popular courses we offer annually. If you are interested and would like to reserve materials, please contact Dorothy Scheehle (see the flyer) by Wednesday of this week to ensure that we can get the materials prior to the day of the CLE. A break will be taken at lunch to allow attendance at the Bar Association Meeting.
